Lightweight Turnout recomend please

I posted about this back along and one of the rugs suggested (which I went on to buy) was the Bucas Sunshower rug. It's silver and designed to reflect the sun's heat away from the horse when it's hot, so can be worn when it's pretty hot out. Nothing worse than leaving a rug on in the morning, then going to work and it's 22 degrees by lunch time and you wish you'd left the rug off! It's also lined with a good quality mesh lining to help prevent over heating, and its outer shell is waterproof to protect against those horrid summer down pours. I'd recommend it.

I bought an Amigo lightwieght this year for my horse as previously bought him a a masta rain sheet and quite frankly it was ****, slid back and rubbed his front. The Amigo fits brilliantly nd keeps him nice and dry - it doesn't keep them warm as such but mainly keeps the rain and cold wind off them. He seems to be happy and comfortable in his anyway. Plus, it's cheap to buy!

Another fan of the Amigo turnouts here. I have a lightweight fal (bought 2nd hand so only paid about £20 - over £80 new!) which is good, but the Amigo (£10 2nd hand but I think only about £40 new) is better - a true rain sheet which actually keeps the rain out!

the amigo rain sheet in 600 denier is about £40 ish the same in 1200 denier is around £65 but much sturdier if you have a rug trasher, player, or undesirable fencing(barbed wire)! some good internet deals around and they come up the size they say they are!

i like my premier equine one, it fit my tbxwb really well, and it was cheap! its about 5 years old now and has coped very well! :) only thing about it is its black, so on the days u decide to put a rug on and it turns out really sunny and u cant get back to the yard, it doesn't help with the heat situation! lol
