As the likit people always answer these posts i'll ask here, why is it SO difficult to get the things out? They have a tear strip but have you ever managed to tear it?

LMAO !

I always use a pair of scissors but one day i will cut my hand off !

I know, I get so cross I make my OH do it but even he has trouble. Megan had a really pretty pink ball thing but the stupid thing broke- waste of £20!!!

I liked that though because the little likits are much easier

She now has to put up with treats on a string or borrowing Bailey boring holder.

they are not as bad as the stupid thing i bought hector last week, was covered in cardboard but had stuck to it all over, took me about half an hour to de-stick it, and i was covered in the stuff afterwards, cant remember what it was called and the packaging is in tiny pieces so cant tell from that

will definatly be sticking to likits in the future

My Boy won’t touch the small round ones and I won’t give him the gooey ones as it goes everywhere we both get covered I stick to carrots for a treat and got one of those big red mineral blocks in his stable he loves it.

It normally takes me about 20 minutes and a few broken nails to get the plastic off. I don't bother buying them anymore as my horse eats them in one night so it wasn't worth the hassle.

Echo the others.. Come on Likit people sort the packaging out before someone does some real damage to their fingers!
Also I found them so soft that the horses could get their teeth into them and they were gone in 1 day. Good idea but think they need to revise the product now and hopefully improve it.

The salt ones are really hard and even a horse that can eat a normal likit before you are out of the stable couln't get through that one!

I found a very easy way to get them out.....by accident

I left some in the tack container for a while, and came to open one on a very cold morning. After removing the top (still a bit of a pain !), the lickit itself just dropped out with a slight tap on a firm surface

It seems they lose their tackiness when cold.....

Yeah how about some environmentally friendly packaging like waxed paper so that you don't have a bin full of plastic and your nails are still intact

(I attack mine with a huge knife)

Erm....isn't waxed paper less environmentally friendly than plastic

I thought waxed paper couldn't be recycled, but plastic can

I agree, bloody packaging is dreadful. I dont buy them very often simply because of the packaging problem! I know plenty of people who feel the same too. Likit people - CHANGE YOUR PACKAGING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe someone should start up a petition?!
