Could anyone tell me how far and how level the walk from the lorry park to the XC course is please. We are going on Tuesday and have someone with us who is rather lame and who will struggle to walk a long way or on hills. Looking on You Tube it appears the fences are all on the level so that will be fine, I can park her on one the fences to watch.

Many thanks.

It's a reasonable walk, maybe 1/4 mile, but someone on on foot could climb through one bit of fence to shorten it. The course is mostly flat, but to get to the bulk of the jumps you have to go down a fairly steep slope.

Short - 50m max.

I definitely wouldn't appreciate it if I were lame, but it wouldn't finish me off either

It was a long way from lorry park to course. Worth it when u get there but I’m not sure I’d advise it if you’re friend is really ‘lame’.

I would say it is definately more than 50m if you are using the full XC course and not just the all weather, and quite a hill back up if you are not good on your feet. The owners however are lovely and helpful so would be worth mentioning to them to see if they might be able to help at all

Ask Becky or Tony if you can drive car down to XC, there is a dead end lane that goes right to the middle of the course.

Thank you for the help. We decided not to go today. We are going on Saturday to do the baby ODE. Lame friend will be able to see dressage and SJ. She has a brand new ankle joint so not really up to a XC ramble.

50m was just referring to the length of the steep slope on the main course.
