Link between chronic pain and aggression in horses

Thanks for this link Lassiesuca. It is really interesting and food for thought.
Must say, I have never punished my aggressive mare.
Touchwood, in the 18 years with her, have only been bitten once and kicked once, despite daily snake faces .
I shall study this link futher.

No worries!

Definitely, I've never hit or smacked my horse, he used to be a little aggressive, but that was through lack of understanding and being young. Sometimes if there was a problem thrown at him, he'd panic and sometimes bite! However one year one, he's like a new pony. Very pleasing!
