Hi everyone,
A while back we mentioned about Brian Hampson and Chris P recent research on wild hooves and the environment.. I think a few of your farriers attended a session that I was at listening to Brian.
The Equine Sciences Academy who I study through, encourages us to adopt a critical thinking approach, so always useful to hear different views to figure out what will be best for the horse in the best situation, being open minded etc etc..
This was interesting to read so thought I'd post up for those that may also be interested in seeing:
Essay written by Dr. Bruce Nock, critical of Brian Hampson's Research and thesis on using the wild horse foot as a model.

This is not the organisation that I'm studying with, but always useful to cascade info so people can make up their own minds or work with the bits that work for them.
Best wishes
