does anyone have a problem getting their horse to eat micronised linseed? My Sec D is being really fussy with her feed and its either the linseed or the forage plus balancer.. i suspect the linseed as now that i think of it, when i forgot the linseed in her feed the other night she ate up pretty quickly. They are mixed in a good amount of speedibeet with conditioning cubes and redigrass. Hmmmmm

Mine hates it!! Won't touch it. Also won't touch Outshine. He also doesn't eat enough beet to fulfil his energy requirements, and won't touch oil in his feed... plus has PSSM. Trying to find a feed that works is a nightmare!!

I've got one who is not normally fussy but hates it even in tiny amounts. Yet the pony will eat it neat with nothing added.

No problem with mine, however she hates seaweed, one yard I was on the YO was adamant that every horse MUST have seaweed because it was good for them, but mine wouldn't touch it. Hardly good for her if she won't eat it? I figure if a horse really doesn't like something that much it's probably fine without (exceptions re bute, steroids, other medication)

We started with just a tiny amount and increased it very slowly. Three out of the 4 eat it. My daughters horse Sunny isn't keen, but he is a fussy boy anyway. She got him a cod liver oil supplement and he refused to have it.
