linseed flakes

I have seen in previous posts that people have used this.

Is it good for weight gain or just coat condition?

I have bought some today, it looks more like a pellett, have I bought the correct thing?

I use the pellet version (the stuff made for cows). In small amounts its great for the coat and skin and in larger amounts will put weight on. I buy a 20k sack for £11 from the feed merchant.

Oh, the one I got today was from my feed merchants, and is marketed for horses. It is in a tub and recommends, for my sized horse, 200grammes. it was £5.50

No, made by codlavine, it is just for horses, or so it says on the tub

dont know witch one you have bought but if you are looking for weight gain or coat condition why dont you just use normal oil it would be so much cheaper for you!
