Assume you mean microionised linseed? Ours both get it - varys between 100g and 300g per day depending on workload. It is part of the feed plan we had put together. They are both 16hh medium weight mares who are in light - medium work (excepting a couple of weeks off in the winter!). They both absolutly glow with health!!

I feed micronised linseed to both of mine - it is excellent for condition - in fact it's so good that my previously underweight TB mare is now overweight!!

Would it be suitable for my cob as a joint supplement and help with coat shine. Or is it to fattening? He's ridden 3 times a week and goes on the walker. He's 20 next year.

We feed it to our good doers with no problems. Primarily so that they get the benefit of the Omega oils linseed contains to help joints stay healthy.

How much would would you feed to a 15.2hh poor doer TB mare currently out of work? (sorry to hijack) :)

Like any feed, introduce slowly so work up from 25g a day to 100g split into two feeds.

Your poor doer probably needs more calories and fibre in addition. Consider calm n condition.
