I would like to feed my horse micronized linseed over the winter, but until I get down to Suffolk at Christmas I can't get any locally, I can get the lozenges but am worried about the molasses content as sugar give us more upward motion than forward, would linseed flakes be an alternative until I can get the micronized?

Charnwood will deliver depending on where you are, alternatively you could get smaller packs from places like Progressive earth on ebay. It would work out more expensive than the big bags but at £8.50 for 3.6 kilos it not horrendous.

In that case Progressive horse are probably the cheapest if they will deliver there. Not come across the flakes and would want to check the side of the pot that nothing has been added but they look like they are more expensive than the micronised from Progressive horse or Equimins will deliver there but charge extra.

If charnwood themselves wont deliver to you then go on ebay and search for micronised linseed. I get charnwood linseed from an ebay shop called smylee pets and they deliver to south west scotland no bother. They do 3kg bags if you want a smaller bag to try first and also the larger 20kg (?) bag and its same price as direct from charnwood.
