I get very sore lips in this cold windy weather. What do you use/recommend to prevent the pain?
Sorry if this is in the wrong place

Eliz Arden 8 hour cream is the only thing that works for me (and the horses). it's not cheap, but it really works. the big tube lasts well over a year if only used for lips, but occasionally if my face feels really dry after a freezing windy day outside then i use it as a super-moisturiser all over.

QR - hoped there'd be a consensus of opinion (on HHO - am I mad?) but thanks very much everyone. That's me off to the chemist tomorrow then

Blistex is good but I also found a lipbalm in LUSH a couple of weeks ago called EGGSNOG & it's fantastic!

Smells v.christmassy so maybe I'll be fed up with it in another couple of weeks but we'll see.

Oh my well kept secret - product called Aloe Kote

White stuff used to sell it, but now you need to google it to find somewhere selling it!

It has lidocaine in it so numbs chapped lips (odd sensation!), has sun block and is super effective. Also using regularly seems to prevent cold sores too.
