I have clipped with A2F (fine) and A2 (medium) but this year felt my clippers struggled a bit on the hairy yak pony. Nothing wrong with clippers, just a very hairy pony.

I have another hairy yak pony to do soon and am considering the CA2 (coarse) blades as an additional to my arsenal...

Would these work well on a yak pony? Lister website states they leave same 2.5mm hair as A2 (medium) blades so I'm not sure how that works?! Anyone know what the finish is like and if suitable for a pony? Argh decisions ... Or else need another set of brand new mediums I guess :(

CA2 s will do a yak but will leave tram lines. best do yak with a2' s and plenty of oil. make sure yak is very clean prior to clip, and clip slowly. job done!!
