Which is the best??

My horse prefers a quieter clipper so which is the quietest between the Star or the Liberty?

I like the idea of being bettery powered so I've no need to worry about wires. Are the liberty quiet, light and powerfull? Or am I best with the star?? Oh decisions descisions!! Just can't make my mind up so need some reviews from peeps that own them!! Good or bad views all helpful. Ta muchly. Mince pies for all that got this far :D

Ive just bought Lister Liberties (not got them yet!) Because i borrowed a set and absolutely loved them recently. I clipped a first time 4 year old and they were quiet and low vibretery (I know thats not a word!) enough to do hi head no problems. Like you say no wires which is a major bonus. Until using these battery clippers i hadnt realized how much wires get in the way, its so much easier without.
Highly recommend!

Thanks McNally! My horse doesn't like the noise or vibration (won't try to spell the word you've just invented!! lol!! But know what you mean!! :D) If you are buying a set after using them once then that is good! Where did you find the cheapest and have you just got the popular pack?

I've recently purchased the Lister Liberty's and they are great, really quiet, my horse hates the noise and vibration of clippers usually but no problems with the liberty's. I've even managed to clip her face with them :D Highly recommend them

I have a set for sale on Ebay with a brand new battery (finish on Sunday) *whistles nonchalently*

FAB clippers, I've just moved onto mains as OH bought me some !

I think that's awesome. Makes me feel layered. Like some sort of epic lasagna

Hey S, how are you doing?? I have both clippers and the only thing I find with the cordless ones is that they almost sound a little muted like they are struggling, but they aren't!! Hen is petrified of the cord and general clipper noise or vibration, he is scared when others on the yard are clipped. It took us 3.5 hours with the corded ones and the second clip which was with the cordless was about 1.5 hours. I wouldn't use anything else now.

I got mine from farmcare. Hope Flin is doing well xxx

Hi M! All fine here :D If Hen approves of the Liberty's then Flin will! I think I have decided on the Liberty's from all the good reviews here. The cheapest I have found so far are at Farmcare. I will have a look at the ones finishing on ebay Sunday ..... so thanks for the tipoff jnb! :D. M, how are you keeping and the boys? Hope all of you are doing well. xxx

Not sure what the post referring to a layered lasagna is about??!! Lol! :D
