Yes i have a pair and i think they are useless for anything more than trimming whiskers!
Considering how pricey they are i thought they would have at least been able to trim ear fluff!!

I have given mine to my mum so she can trim my step dads hair

They think they are great!

Well, I've got some and I really like them. I use Lister Showman clippers for most of my clipper-shy horse and then the Meteors to do her head (half -clipped), top of her neck, armpits and between her back legs. She used to need sedating with normal clippers. My horse is a TB but quite a hairy one! I've had them since they first came out and they were cheaper then.

I have a pair that were great for trimming feathers, chins, bridle paths, wispy tails hairs & ear fluff.

. They worked really well till some idiot at the yard "borrowed" them from my cupboard & used them to take the bottom off a really thick tail. They over heated them & put them back in the cupboard full of black hair, my horse grey so i could tell ha ha

. Now the battery doesn't hold much charge despite the OH's best effort. They have done a good job on OH's hair a number of times & I'd have another pair.

They are great and mine will cut any type of hair- have even used them to take off legs on a clipper shy sj before. Mine have lasted years as well and before I stopped grooming I clipped ALOT of horses (about 50 a season). Had the Wahl ones and they lasted 4 sessions and then died!
