Lister star's wont start

Clippers have given up! Had them since October 2010, bought them from a company called Paddock Perfection.

Have emailed Paddock Perfection and Lister to see where i stand in terms of guarentee as not happy as they have only been used around 5 times in total!

Anyone else had problems and did Lister fix the clippers for you?

Have you tried the reset button?

Mine didn't start after getting a bit hot and I thought I had pushed the reset button but it hadn't gone in far enough. You need to push it in with a pen or something until it clicks.

Worth a try.

you bought them in oct 2010! when were they last serviced and pat tested? they need doing annually!

if they went when pressing the reset button sounds like they need a service! the reset button only pops out in times of dire need. you can reset to finish a job but ideally would send them for checking/servicing as this is a safety mechanism.

thanks ill get them serviced soon, that was the last clip of the winter done anyway
