I'm new to this whole clipping malarkey but my new boy is extremely hairy and absolutely hates being hot once his been worked he becomes really itchy.
I recently had to have him clipped but we had to twitch him which didn't do enough to get the clip done so as a last resort he was sedated.
But I now want to purchase some clippers and get him used to them over the next coming months to make it a good expirence for him.

However I'm stuck on what lister clippers to get, ideally needs to have a low vibration as this is what my boy isent keen on.

Any help & advice be appreciated

I have just bought a Lister Star, we picked it because its light and has a narrow handle, I find some of the other brands very bulky and give me cramp holding them, they are fairly quiet and low vibration. I am very pleased with them. I understand the star was an improved version of the Lister neon which had problems with the head breaking.

Defo go for cordless if you have a horse that moves around or is nervous - thatway you can keep the clippers on him and not have the worry of treading on the flex.

are the lister liberties low on vibration ? I've heard mixed views on these a few people have said that the batteries don't last or they don't hold
Enough charge to do a full clip,
But these were the ones I was most interested in buying

I use these and when I have done a full clip the charge has lasted with out a problem, I like them.
