...for a full lameness work-up. We can't figure out what is wrong with him (and by 'we' I include our equine vet), so he's off to Newmarket.

I don't know if I'll be able to go as it's a good two and a half/three hours away. I want to. Will have to see how my back is feeling in the morning.

Any spare thoughts for LC would be very much appreciated.

(And thoughts for his owner, D1, who whilst being a flaming stroppy teenager, is still my daughter and she still has to deal with tomorrow and whatever comes).

Haven't posted on your LC threads before, but followed them and wishing you much luck. Hope you find that it's all ok and can be sorted out pretty soon. Have a teenage pony owner myself and know how hard it is for them. xx.

Good luck with pony and Daughter, I know how anxious my son was when his pony spent the day in vets having lameness exploration, he was a right stroppy little g*t, sadly for us it wasn't very good new, hope yours is much better news.

I'm sure they will really look after him If you do feel up to going with him, I can recommend the tea room there - (I had to take my chap several times for treatment), they let me take my dog inside and the snacks/cakes were great. It sounds trivial, but it was really great to have somewhere welcoming to sit during what was a very traumatic time. I really, really hope all goes well for your little cob, he will be in excellent hands.

Will keep all crossed for your little cob, hopefully they can find whats causing the problem.
Loads of hugs and best wishes.
Hope you can make it,but dont worry, if they are anything like liverpool, its first class service,in fact I would rather go there than human hospital :)
