It's an Exo cage. It fits round her body underneath, the bit you can see is the outer cage.

I'm really surprised reading that HHO report on body protectors that the Exo wasn't more popular considering it gives protection from rotational falls...
I hate wearing body protectors with a passion, though, so I'm not sure about getting one yet.

I think the look of it is off-putting, but once it's on, it's remarkably light and comfortable (more comfortable than my RP!). Daughter can move and twist easily and I don't have to tell her to put it on (teenager - so it must be comfy lol). They are flipping expensive though at £260
