Can anyone help? We are about to move to our own place with its own field/ stables and are desperately looking for companion mare for our cob mare.(Companion only.No riding) I am looking for a Shetland or native type as my mare is a very good doer and I need to be careful with her grazing, so I do need a companion that will have the same lifestyle. Max size 13 hands at least 4 years old. The local rescue centres that I had hoped to obtain a pony from near my new place are closed due to strangles.
We have owned horses for 20 years and will be happy to provide references to show that we are genuine. Pony would become a family pet we would wish to keep permanently, so we cannot consider horses on loan. We do offer a permanent loving home. Thanks.
