No, was going to go but changed my mind because I think Lex will have done enough this year after Holdenby this weekend.

no ballot, just closed the entries. Suppose you can't ballot for the last one as you then can't reuse day tickets etc as they are only valid for that year.

Decided to withdraw, was in the Novice on William, but he is a bit bruised and battered after Charlton, has gone very well this year, can be roughed of now a month earlier than planned (and so no clipping!), and Providence gave me a final sign when I was told today my lorry will be in for servicing before its MOT that weekend.... So if there's a wait-list for the Novice a place will shortly be available
