Little homeless lurcher

A friends sister has to go into hospital and is rehoming her Manchester terrier x whippet bitch. Friend who has gundogs says it is untrained but sweet! Cannot be trusted with chickens.
I don't know how old it is, will find out. Is in Sussex.

Have just found out it is a dog!! 1 year old, housetrained, neutered. Light brindle colour, prick ears, very pretty.

Are they looking for a short/medium term foster in an ideal world or an actual rehome? I'm not in a position to provide either unfortunately but just thought it would be helpful to clarify - most people do not want to rehome their pets for an 'ordinary' hospital visit is all.
