And for the very best bit!!!! Hubby is uploading the video of her birth so you will all be able to see how she came into the world just over a month ago. Not sure how long it will take him to upload and it is about 9 minutes long from start to finish but if you are interested then it should be up today some time.

Oh Chambon I am absolutely adoring her "pirate patches" - I think they give her even more character ..... if that is at all possible!! So where are the recent photos of Apricot??

You can almost see her personality in her eyes on the first photo!!!!

She is such a doll!

When a foal is to be grey when do they (as a rule) turn full color? At a year?

It seems to vary a lot to be honest. I think Legacy will be fully grey before the end of the Summer to be quite truthful. She was born with a big fluffy orange coat but now the Summer has arrived and she is sweltering with it on and is slowly shedding it and it is being replaced by her Summer coat which happens to be light grey. I wouldn't expect her to settle properly for another year though.

I find it quite fun though - ponio is never the same colour each day

I think you could be right

Cloud is doing fantastically well - she's my little angel and she has proved to be a wonderful Mummy; almost a shame that she won't have any more foals, but heyho. Thank you for asking about her.

Hubby is having a bit of trouble. All of our goods are Sony and they are specific apparently, so it is making it 10 times more difficult for him to put it onto youtube. Might be up during my day.....but it may be tomorrow for you guys .... sorry

Anyway, the video is now up in the Photo Gallery. Sorry it took so long but apparently it was "a real pain in the butt to do". Done now though, so I hope you enjoy it.

Enfys tootles off to PG still stunned at the constant changes of Legacy, she is just sooo huggable.

Awwww, isn't she just so adorable??? All fluffy and cuddly!!!

I always thought Asti would grey out, her mum is a chestnut but Dad is grey and I know a few that have started black or chestnut and eventually greyed out but Asti stayed ginger! (Which I have to say I'm pleased with - from a cleaning point of view!!!)

Mind you, she was born as bright an orange as you'll ever see, but went really dark for her first winter, she went such a liver chestnut that she was almost black. I'll have to scan some of the old piccies.

Of course she went back orange but has a lot of grey in round her stifles, and has a grey "mallen streak" under her forlock, and her mane is a mad mix of chestnut, mid grey, black, flaxen and white, and tail is chestnut at the top, golden at the bottom, with metallic gold and copper hairs and some black and white.

Strange beasties. Can't wait to see what we'll get off a spotty daddy!
