little rescue...

Just picked up a little rescue from a friend. She holds them for the council and either rehomes through charities etc... Or they are pts. Anyway, she nagged me to come and see one she had picked out for me... I ended up picking up the scab best one of the group.
I've just brought him home, wormed and de loused and chucked him out in a little paddock as the poor thing had been in a holding pen for a month. I'm slightly worried as the first guess was three plus... Watching him buck and fling around it appears he is much younger.
He def. Has no testicles... His mane is not one of a baby, but his tail def. Still has a bit of fluff... His teeth appears to be that of a three yr old but now I'm doubting myself. Is there a simple way in which I can tell, he is booked into the vets next Thurs for his chip and marking.

Teeth would be most accurate. If he's been mistreated or neglected then been in a holding pen for ages that would explain his happy behaviour! I also believe that when malnourished the body puts the energy into important stuff like staying alive, not growing tails or decent coat! Well done you, will you share before and after photos?

I will do pics... I have another rescue which is for the younger kids and hes a sweetie. This one tbh is to pass on when fit and well. I just thought as it was he had no chance.. Now at least he has a good chance of being a mighty fine little kids pony.
