My 4 year old is demonstrating what a wonderful breed this is
She has been ridden less than 10 times in her life starting about 5 weeks ago but education put on hold due to riders uni exams and a snotty nose
Now fit and well and uni exams are all over we are back to work with a vengeance.
Yesterday she did a bit of schooling and cantered both reins for a full 30m circle and was then ridden by a complete beginner rider in walk and trot
today she was walked and trotted by 4 different riders two beginners on a lead rein two novices in walk and trot and canter with the the beginner from yesterday. She walked out along the A46 a very busy main road and didnt bat an eye at the traffic more interested in what is in the hedgerow as it was all new. She was leading most of the way is happy to go in front and behind and was a total star leading her naughty mum passed the motorbikes
She is so forward thinking and nosey life is so easy but has a temperament and unflappability you would find hard to find in many older more experienced horses. She loves her work and such a sweetheart to handle on the floor would never think to barge you over
Have been letting other people on her in preparation for selling her at a later date once she is really ready to go but what a star she has been so far
Plan to start her over poles in a couple of weeks too Not bothered if she never sells she is such an easy pony to have around just dont have enough riders to justify wasting her
