And things are going swimmingly!
Today he got a rub with some Aloe Vera gel and another dusting with louse powder (he hates both and tried to run away!
).
Best of all in just over one week he has put on 8 kilos!!!
Whilst I appreciate eight kilo's is merely a sneeze in a tornado, its a bloody good start for such a wee fellow, and I swear he looks less "angular", though I shall seek an opinion from the farrier tomorrow who has not seen him since he did his feet the day after he arrived.
He has a very cheeky character starting to emerge, he has now learnt that if he plants himself, its harder to put him to bed after a munch on the grass, and if he leans on you, he will get a scratch.
We also have learnt (purely from his reaction) that he was most likely travelled in the back of a big van, as he tried to throw himself through the back wall of the stable when the hay was delivered
Hay man will now be dropping at the gate, but coming in to give him a scratch, hopefully one day we will get him over the fear of big vans, but at his own pace.
But for now we are super happy, should have seen two grown women hopping around like idiots over 8 kilos, Little Stig more likely than not wondered what the hell his mum and auntie were doing!!!!
