After a good day at another show i thought id do a littl update on my daughter and her pony she got May for her birthday.
As per usual Pony is living up to her name and is been a superstar.
Weve been working a bit on daughter flatwork getting her to ride from leg to hand and pony is starting at times to work into an outline obviously daughter only been 8 cant maintain it for long periods but its getting there and am pleased shes been able to get the pony to do it naturally. We went out last week and had some fun XC. We went somewhere different than usuall which i knew had alot bigger water than shes used to so i went glad with big wellies just in case.;) But lovely little pony just walked through. She popped up steps over some quite big scary fences:eek: Today we went dressaging and was very proud of both of them competing against adults by one other kiddie and she got a 5th in an intro a test and a 6th in a prelim 10, which i was very pleased with as its a very busy test with lots to do.:D

Anyway heres some piccies for you to see:)

Lovely photos :) Looks like you've found a very genuine pony for her. Hope the fun continues for them both for a long time.

And can I ask where did you find that sun?!

I know we had good weather!! Im in Windsor Berkshire. It was very windy first thing and we nearly didnt go but it calmed down so we went. Had about 5 mins of rain when we loading up to go home but the rest of the day sunshine!!!:):D Makes the day much more enjoyable!!:)

OOh Rosehill, didn't know it was still open. Glad you didn't get blown away, get s a bit breezy up there! Looks like you had fun!

Yer it is, they actually hold well rent it out and they still hold quite a few comps there I think some of the local PCs use it quite a bit. Its only 15 mins from us so perfect for a sunday afternoon to do something different.:)

Lovely pics, your little girl is a very lucky one :) The pony is lucky well :) - they look like a great partnership :) what a great start for your daughter into riding... she looks like a natural !
I love the hairy little heart clipped into the pony's bottom :)))

Thankyou everybody.:) I am a very proud mummy proud of both of them especially as daughter is only and pony 7!!.
She is a lovely pony so good for my daughter although she is brilliently behaved she teaches daughter alot as shes also not push button, of daughter just sits and flops into jumps she will happily go round it, but i like that she will be a better rider for than if pony just did it.
But she is great she loves and thrives of work.
Thankyou about the heart the adult SJs at the yard tell me off but you know what daughter is 8 and before i know it will be grown up and life all serious so i want her to have fun and enjoy her youth for as long as possible, plus it goes with her pink flowery fleece rug!!!:D;)

What a lovely pony....are those pics taken at Pontispool? If so were they today? As I would have thought that bit of Taunton would have been pretty washed out.....maybe they were Half Term? Or somewhere completely different!
