After my last post about JWB dog food we tried him on wag sensitive and he has already put 3 kg on and is looking loads better. Really impressed about this food
Sorry didnt see your last post about JWB, but I was feeding my two greyhounds JWB (just swapped to Country Pursuit as it is £20 a sack cheaper!) and I found I had to feed them significantly more for them to keep weight on than with ANY other food I have ever used
My sister also found the same with her Cavaliers, so I guess it is the same for all breeds
Is Wag Sensitive hypoallergenic? I dont really like the Country Pursuit stuff (my older greyhound with not many teeth seems to struggle with it for some reason) but I want a hypoallergenic food after loosing two with digestive problems last year
I feed my cocker JWB - and have to feed him LESS than the recommended or he puts weight on! I guess it depends on your dog. Should add that its the same for my sisters lab - spend all out time trying to get weight off!!

I am confused.... did you have to feed more jwb than other feeds, or the other way round....
I have bought the light/senior one for my podgy schnauzer
would love to know that it will make him skinnier

Sorry, I rambled
Yes, I had to feed more JWB than any other brand I have ever fed
e.g. my older greyhound usually had two mugs of food twice a day, she needed three mugs of food twice a day to maintain condition on JWB
I've only ever fed my younger greyhound JWB (and now Country Pursuit) so not sure how it was for her!
As I said, my sister found just the same with her Cavaliers - in fact she feeds JWB because then she can feed them more at each meal, so it seems like they are getting a 'proper' meal
Well I just bought a 15kilo bag of puppy and a 15kilo bag of senior/lardyarse....... should have been 43.99 a bag but the girl on the till only charged me 23.99 a bag
I didnt notice till I got home......
These bags should last 5 months though as dogs are only little
After I had a chat at Pets at Home though, I will change to their own brand as its the same as JWB.... also Pedegree has bought out the brand of JWB and only need to keep the receipe the same for five years.... after that who knows what it will be like
Ooooh thank you MQ that is REALLY interesting to know
I shall be off to Pets at Home next weekend then, and will give theirs a try, I know the Country Pursuit is meant to be the same but mine dont seem to get on with it for some reason
Or maybe that is just me being over-fussy
Wow fancy a bag lasting 5 months though... I knew I should've got smaller dogs
Wish I could remember the name.... I am fairly sure it begins with W though..... If you look under the dog food banners that are black, then that is the healthy range!!
But in any case they should be able to tell you which one I mean
I was trying to be good and keep away from HHO but it didnt work...again....
I am a sad case
Flick has settled in 100% now bless her, she is having a great time
I have been on holiday from work this week so lots of walks and playing with a football in the garden, and apart from trying to murder the neighbours cat every time she sees it
then she hasnt put a paw wrong
Actually she is better at coming when she is called than Islay is
which makes a refreshing change
I am just trying to stop myself getting a third one now
