Millie came down three weeks ago with trauma induced laminities, she was really poorly for about 10 days and then started to pick up, anyway yesterday she had a set of x-rays done, we had intended to to them the week before but she was still uncomfortuable coming out of her stable, so the vet wanted to give her a bit long. Well collected the results last night and it's not bad. 10 degree rotation of pedal bone, but can be corrected with trimming and corrective shoeing in Left Front, Right Front has very very minimal rotation, again corrective with trimming and shoeing, both hinds are fine, but she does have thrush in all four feed which is being treated at the moment. So all in all my little coloured pony is on the mend, going to be long, but she's going to be ok. So thankies for the healing vibes, they really did work, as for my wits, they are in tatters at the moment....... Thankies everyone...xx

I have a mare with lami so know just how stressful the whole thing can be. Just don't rush her - the slower the better as the healing is so much better. You have probably already done this but look at the Laminitis Clinic website and if necessary call their helpline. They are the experts in all types of lami and will help you with a diet, rehab excercise timetable etc to get her sound again - will also look at xrays and speak to farriers etc.

Please keep us updated on her progress

Thank you for that, have looked at the website, but may well give there helpline a call, just really to get as much info as possible and the timetable would be really good......
