Just a quick update to all those who have pmed me about my monsters.

Winston is great, although a bit above his station due to his hunting and gunho rides around the park! his dressage and jumping have been kept minimal however, when he has been asked to perform hes been very good, although the jumping brakes have failed - but its nice that hes enjoying life after such a rotten summer with his bruised soles

Bertie, well, hes had a reprieve! he was due to be pts in september, although I think he got wind of this, and has turned into a 4 year old! Hes having a great time hooning around the field bucking and farting - even winston has told him to belt up for getting annoying!! Hes now off all pain killers and just kept on coligone liquid which seems to have helped him no end

And then theres snoop!
Well snoop has settled down nicely, his flat work is coming on leaps and bounds and it wont be long before he is out on the dressage scene! he surprises me everytime i ride him, he learns very fast - probably too fast and you only have to tell him anything once! he is very forward going and a dream to ride. He shocked me the other day with showing me he can do extended trot just if you rise a bit higher so now thats perfected

Hacking has been a joy also - not scared of traffic and has been loving going round the park - he is very bold, and pops the ditches and water puddles and splashes through the ford as if hes been doing it all his life

Jumping at home is just a joy! it doesnt matter how he gets there he will jump it - he is being an arse atm with throwing his head before a fence - as if to say I KNOW WHAT IM DOING WOMAN! if he loses balance and falls into trot he still manages to pick up and jump and clear it - that horse was born with springs!

So there you go, all well in the BBs household, snoop has his teeth check up on wednesday and has his first lesson on saturday (weather pending).

Thats about it really, BSJA is planned over the winter, but Im staying clear of Sillymare as shes on a roll atm and winning all the money lol although I will be calling on her services to be my lead on the Ginger one xc schooling at MKEC!! seeing as i was so good to her last year on winston

You sound so busy, you're going to be dead skinny with all this riding. Envious of your new horsie, quite fancy a new one myself, if Sienna gets preggers, so we can compare notes about being bucked off babies instead of riding our nice safe ponies.
Hope you are coming to Pontispool in Feb, you'll just be stuck about which horse to bring.......

I forgot to mention about the YO's two I look after. Cant ride the old sjer now tho as hes got a habit of falling over

Although trainer is coming saturday so.....should be interesting to see if he feels we are both ready. TBH I would like to just take snoop to some clear round evenings at Addington before scaring him!!

But yep addington is where Im thinking of going, must pull finger out wtih winston and get him back up and running - I have the water tray arrriving this weekend!! that will sort him out lol that or i will end up in it

HAHA Ive already hit the deck once when they took a dislike to the blue plastic i put out! Snoop bless him jumps it like a pro after the 2nd attempt - winston OMG he was still jumping it like it was gonna eat him after about the 15th attempt lol silly sod! but it jumps huge ditches I TELL YA!!
 
I rarely ride S atm tbh. I am keen to get Will out and about doing more, he'll have 2 ponies to compete next year.
His brother may like a life which doesn't entirely feature horses, so I may have to do non horsey things

If I really miss riding then I may buy a project pony to have fun with.

This is all assuming of course that Sienna is interested, she's so gay that in all likelihood she's completely infertile....

She was one of a twin,(other was pinched out in the womb) and my mum thinks I'm throwing good money after bad trying to get her in foal at all.

Def send her to Twemlows, don't try at home as his doesn't travel. Deco didn't take in 2005 when I tried like this and I was subsequently told it had been a waste of my time! She took 2nd time at Twemlows this year. They are very very good and will tell you if yours has any problems that will affect her. Have you rung Sue yet? I think he'll be very popular next season, his offsping are doing better and better.

I'm hijacking as BBs has stood me up for Jona on Saturday

Yes, I am so happy about Bertie - coligone has really made a difference to him. He will never be 100% sound but its def helped his digestion and his coat looks just like it used to

WELL!! I know PN is a long shot! however, he is SJing PN height easily atm but of course he may say NOPE xc - who knows - I shall make a decision nearer the time.
 
Aldon XC is nice enough, the Sj is flat and a good surface so really think you have every shot at it. 2 horses to event - have you spoken nicely to your bank manager yet!

Well!!! Two horses to event, but cheaper livery WOO HOO

Winston will probably do spring season and then go show jumping. Snoop should he prove to be a good eventer then will head the BYEH and Pavo 5 year old classes even tho he wont actually be 5 till June. However, I would like to have a shot at some SJing classes also - but this all depends on money, time and of course if we gel or.....if I havent sold him first

Really hope it all works out - somehow I can see more chats with bank manager than you selling snoop! Tis all too exciting. Feeling more boyant about winter now its going quicker than I thought.
