little white lumps on intimate area

my gelding has some tiny white lumps on one side of his sheath. The flies are attracted to them and I remember last year, the horse next door lost the pigment around his eyes because of the flies. They don't seem to bother him but I have been slapping sudocrem on to protect them...anyone got any experience?

Have you called the vet out? A mare on my yard has numerous little white lumps on her teats, the vet suspected that they could develop into sarcoids and told her to use camerosa cream to keep them at bay.

hi, no, I haven't called the vet out...i think he had them last summer and they went away. he is only three, i don't know if this has any bearing on anything
