Liver and herbs? Help! :(

Ok so last week my 21 y o horse came in all wobbly I was checking him over and found his sheath massive felt so guilty had vet straight out Sunday antibiotics. Friday I went to give breakfast he hadn't eaten hay or tea only one small 4 lump dropping and was leaning on the door so much as I opened it I thought he was going to fall he'd also rubbed his nose raw overnight vet out they sedated and treated the colic he was still wobbly for 24 hrs sat am vet came and took bloods right now they showed low urea and high enzyme proteins normal he also had a high worm count which shocked me as he was wormed 4months ago now on panacur 5days still on antibiotics he's fed hi fi orig and pasture mix not much at all as not in work only really as others fed I was feeding glucosamine but he's just run out and have since read there is small relation to liver damage I started milk thistle yesterday but was wondering if I can feed devils claw as well to help with his joints any advice appreciated I know it's a matter of time but would love him to have a nice summer and then... But obviously if he deteriorates :( thanks x
 
Global herbs restore is meant to be very helpful, I've read a few good reports. Also tincture of milk thistle is helpful as a liver restorative.

Another thing to consider is adding salt and magnesium to his diet at this time of year with the growing grass. A good dose of salt a day, one to two tablespoons for big horse as well as free choice salt but make sure he always has access to clean water.
Is the sheath swelling infection or fluid gathering? If he has fat pads above his eyes as well consider metabolic issues.
 
Has his heart been checked, I had a horse with liver failure caused by a failing heart. I would also use Restore alongside Movefree for his joints, but not devil,s claw!
 
Thanks for replies his sheath has gone down considerably with antibiotics almost back 2 normal vet checked his heart and said it's ok there's no lumps or bumps on him in a fatty sense but he has a few tail sarcoids he's grey and one I found in his sheath again vet said nothing to worry about, this morning he had rubbed his nose again and was a bit restless didn't want breakfast suspicious I think! Had to practically force feed his wormer last night, he was still wobbly but marched out to the field I'm hoping the wormer is what's making him feel a bit miserable taking it one day at a time vet said not to change diet 2 much so Gunna stick with milk thistle for a minute and hope longer days out help the joint x
