Ok so last week my 21 y o horse came in all wobbly I was checking him over and found his sheath massive felt so guilty had vet straight out Sunday antibiotics. Friday I went to give breakfast he hadn't eaten hay or tea only one small 4 lump dropping and was leaning on the door so much as I opened it I thought he was going to fall he'd also rubbed his nose raw overnight vet out they sedated and treated the colic he was still wobbly for 24 hrs sat am vet came and took bloods right now they showed low urea and high enzyme proteins normal he also had a high worm count which shocked me as he was wormed 4months ago now on panacur 5days still on antibiotics he's fed hi fi orig and pasture mix not much at all as not in work only really as others fed I was feeding glucosamine but he's just run out and have since read there is small relation to liver damage I started milk thistle yesterday but was wondering if I can feed devils claw as well to help with his joints any advice appreciated I know it's a matter of time but would love him to have a nice summer and then... But obviously if he deteriorates
