Hello all
My horse suffered with liver damage over the past winter. He was diagnosed in October, got the all clear in April and has been fine since.
I have been feeding him milk thistle since October, and since I am approaching the end of my current tub, and my horse has gone nearly three months happy and healthy, whether it's something I should be feeding long term, or as a twice/thrice yearly detox. Are there any negative side effects with feeding it long term? I had originally planned on keeping him on it long term. What are people's opinions on this, is there anything to gain by feeding a currently healthy horse milk thistle?
