Liverman Phoenix arrived with one battery full charged. Is this normal?

Just a little surprised. Small bit of wear to base. Am I neurotic? Do they send them partially charged. The second one is charging away. Kya
 
Not sure about that particular item but I have had battery powered items arrive with charged batteries in the past, so I wouldn't be overly surprised at it. I think my Clipperman trimmers arrived almost fully charged.
 
Thanks Widgeon, I went for it, so they won't be going back! Seemed fine. Cut the coat like butter. Delighted. Loud, but he just jumped once and then really enjoyed it. :)
 
Great! I've been thinking about clipping mine but I can't quite convince myself that the weather really is improving. He's not been very well over winter so I'm afraid of clipping his coat off and then March throwing nasty surprises at us. Can't leave it too long though or I'll be suffocating in yak-density cob hair....
 
It's amazing isn't it. I have three full rugs on the go, and he's out in sheltered conditions for 10 hours a day. I've had a drop down drag-out coat battle where I thought it was cushings, it's not lice, but the coat had to come off. Cushings negative. His wifey died a year ago and his coat didn't shed in the summer. Was still there in October (last years winter coat!). He is SO much happier now, he leans into the clippers. Took weeks to just cut the hair down enough to even clip. I'll never let his coat grow out again. Never. He's 24 or so, and I love him to bits. I think I just got the edge of the season!
 
Oh wow! That really does sound extreme. I'm not surprised he's happy for it to come off! Whatever the reason it's nice that you can make him more comfortable.
