The vet has just finished the final treatment of Liverpool cream for my horses sarcoids and it certainly looks like it is doing something - large sections of skin + sarcoid seem to be peeling off (yuck). So I just wondered if anyone else had used Liverpool cream on their horse and if so how effective it had been i.e. have the sarcoids come back?

Sunny had 4 applications with about 3 days in between each vet visit. Crusted over exactly as per text book then dropped off and disappeared. That was last June. No sign since! Good luck!

My lad even had one on his sheath and the applications never bothered him at all!!!

My dad's horse is on his second lot but his sarcoids arn't lumpy ones (not the technical term!) More like rough skin, plus one is above his eye. Hopefully this lot will clear it as the insurance won't pay for much more.

The insurance wont pay for any more on mine but.....to treat 4 sarcoids(which included 4 vet visits, treatment and herbal remedy, included on insurance, advised by vet to support immune system while he was treated, the £500 herbal lasted 6months,started him on it before treatment and carried on for 3 months after(however vet supported global herbs and i do not rate them at all,not after using hilton herbs, they nearly cleared em without vet treatment, just couldnt afford to keep im on them,i do have picture evidence of the hilton herbs and as soon as i can get em posted i will!!

)!!!

about 10 years ago my little welsh cob had a sarcoid under his girth that came up really quick, we couldn't ride him, and he was miserable cos he liked to be busy.
vet gave him i think 3 'doses' and the sarcoid just dropped off a couple of weeks later. He's now 22, and the sarcoid hasn't come back at all.
