Does the vet have to apply this and how many times ?
And how long did it take for you to notice any changes, did it work or not or did sarcoids grow in another place thanks

3 times, vet left cream with me (which he shouldn't, but another livery had used it and has had her horse for 20 years, with the same vet so he was happy to cut costs for me as the insurance didn't cover it and the main cost involved is the vet visits).

Both sarcoids disappeared and no others have appeared. All in about 2-3 weeks. It becomes inflamed and sore so you have to be careful applying if the horse is likely to object.

Thanks thats good to hear getting stressed over it tbh they are tiny like bigger mud splashes four 2-3 weeks is a excellent result i hope i have the same

My mare had a sarcoid removed a couple of years ago using it, the vet came either every day for a week or every other day - I can't remember.

He wouldn't let me put it on, sarcoid hasn't come back and up to now she hasn't had a reoccurence, insurance paid for treatment and it was roughly £400, a couple of the visits were shared with another livery though.

My girl had her 3rd lot of Liverpool Cream treatment this year. It took about 3 weeks for the sarcoid to die and come away. The area went black and very hard but you could see pink healthy looking skin around the edges. Eventually it heals from underneath and the hard bit will come away.
With the 3 times the cream has been used she has had no more lumps appear, but who knows what will happen over time.
I have paid for the treatment everytime and believe the cost of about £400 to be well worth it and will be willing to have it done again if she needs it.
Liverpool cream is the only thing I would like used on her now as the first sarcoid she had was surgically removed and most of the ones that have been treated have grown on the scar.

used it on mine 2yrs ago. sarcoid took 3mths to fall off, has left a tiny weeny scar and no signs of recurrence. i'm a vet so i applied it. vets really shouldn't be leaving it with clients to apply.

Liverpool cream worked for my horse 6 years ago and have not seen a sarcoid since. I would have thought it should have been applied by the vet as i was informed it was extremely dangerous stuff all be it that was some 6 years ago and the recipe might have changed. I cant find fault with it and it certainly works fast, however if it is not applied correctly it can be dangerous i believe.
