Does anybody out there know how I could get some Liverpool Cream? I am guessing that it would have to be direct from the vet, if possible, but you never know!!
Yes it has to come through the vet as it is toxic they have to put it on and they take photos first so it can be made up correctly depending on the type
The vet applies to Leahurst for it from the bloke who invented it.. And your vet must administer the treatment.. its extremly toxic and should be used with care. Your vet will sent pictures up the Liverpool and the results will come from there.. it really is a last resort..
Having looked after a horse who had this treatmnet while he was undergoing it on his face.. i has seen the amount of pain it causes.. I would only use it as a last resort.

have you spoken to your vet about the cream and why you are wanting it?
your vet will want you to take photos of your horse with which have to be sent off to liverpool before they will decide whether or no to treat with the cream. Like others have mentioned, it is very toxic and can cause great pain to horses. My previous mare was treated with this cream. It didnt seem to cause her any pain and cleared her sarcoids up.
Fiirstly I would speak to your vet about other treatment before going for the liverpool cream
my vet came out and photographed my mares sarcoids and made a detailed description which went of the dr derek knottenbelt (not sure on spelling) at liverpool uni they then made up the cream accordingly it's not that expensive but can take a few weeks. worked wounders on my horse.
