Liverpool Wood Pellets Delivery Problems

Hello,

Well after much persuasion i managed to persuade my livery yard to change to Liverpool Wood Pellets even after reading on hear about delivery problems!

We placed an order last Monday and we were told they would be delivered on Wednesday.....well we have called every day and every day the tell us tomorrow.

We are now at a stage where we have ran out of pellets...very very dissapointed.

I dont normally moan on here, but why make promised you cannot keep.
 
I'm sorry you've had delivery problems...I had trouble with my first order (last year) but when they finally arrived it became apparent that they had been dispatched within 48 hours, it was the delivery company that caused the trouble. The driver told me the pallet had been sat on his lorry for 5 days!!

I had a delivery again last month, with no problems.

I would say keep harassing them, I threatened to cancel the order and got a discount off this last order.
 
Sorry to hear your having a few issues with them. My yard bought a few pallets around 4 weeks ago. They said they would be delivered on the thurs but they phoned on the wed to say it would be the following tues due to our yard not being able to take the delivery as it was going to be an artic lorry. So they re arranged it and we got in on a smaller delivery lorry on the day with no issues at all.
We did phone them as yo was going out riding so we had someone on the yard and they passed on delivery depo number so we got a time for the delivery.
So I would keep phoning them.

Have told them if they are not here tomorrow then i will cancel. I have a horse in on box rest.

So annoyed. Plus it is me ringing them for an update rather than them ringing me.
 
A pity you are having problems. I placed an order last Thursday, and the pallet was delivered yesterday, no delay at all.
 
I have to say I have had nothing but fantastic service from them this season. I placed an order last Wednsday and it was delivered yesterday. And I have a delivery every month really since September and all have been within the week, some in 3 days.

Where abouts are you?

I was very tempted not to use them again, but a friend ordered from them and was told they had fired the dispatch company because they had been so bad...when my pallet was delivered it was the same company that I had all he trouble with :eek::mad:
 
I had the same problem a few years back with LWP - Funnily enough it wasn't their fault then either, it was the delivery/pallet company - even the bags being the wrong size was the pallets companies fault (apparently).

I switched to http://www.corleybiowood.co.uk/ never been let down, and have always delivered when originally arranged, normally within 48hrs of ordering (expect once when the pallet company called to ask if they could come a day early)!
 
Hi,

We are in Northamptonshire......well they have until lunch time and if they havent arrived we will cancel the order and place it with corley.

It wouldnt be too bad if they called and kept us informed but we are having to ring them. We have 5 horses on the bedding two are on box rest and they have the smallest beds. Am furious really.....just hope they come today as promised.

Apprently they are in the depot 30 miles away......
