*LIVERPOOL WOOD PELLETS* - Does anyone use it for bedding?

As title really. Spent all afternoon trying to source shavings or something that I can put on top of deep litter shavings bases with no luck. Came across http://www.liverpoolwoodpellets.co.uk and just wondered if anyone else had used them as they seem very similar to other pelleted bedding. Do they expand with moisture like feed cubes or do they just stay hard like wood?

Hi all,

Ivejust used pellets from liverpool wood pellets for the first bed, good price and a quick delivery.

I opened the top of 10 bags put water in upto a quarter of a bag, let them stand for a couple of minues and then spread them around, this stiff is amazing!!

They reckon 10-12 bags, for the first bed and then 1-2 bags a week.

It really does fluff up and it looks agood and feels good, upto now Im completely hooked.

I paid about £260 for a tonne of 100 bags including the delivery, which is around 70-80 bales of shavings I think.

Have you tried Corley Bio-Wood, advertising on Horse and Hound business finder? There coming up cheaper than Liverpool Wood Pellets.
