Liverpool Wood Pellets - SORRY!

I am wanting to get some in for winter. My only care with bedding is that it's not straw and it's cheap

. I used Sundown Yellow last winter but see that LWP appears cheaper. I have two horses with rubber matting, in at night in winter and usually use two bags of shavings/chopped straw per week. My question is - how much do I get to last 7 months of winter?

7 months of winter!! Blimey I thought it was a long winter if mine stay in for 4 months!!

I use the pellets and will be getting a tonne delivered to do the two stables for the whole winter - I don't have rubber matting so make a deep bed. If I need more I will just order them as and when as I have no problem with dry storage for them - still have some left from last winter.

On rubber matting and putting 6 bags down for a good bed at the beginning of the winter, I will be looking at about 60 bags. Thats 2 per week give or take

That's exactly what we do with ours. Rubber matting, 6 bags to start then top up with 1-2 bags a week per stable (depends on the horse!).

A ton pallet would see you through the winter and probably then some.
