livery advice help please.

my horse currently kept at my parents house. someone has approached us to come up as a livery, dont know this person at all. obviously plan to get references etc, any other ideas, what about insurance should we be insured to have a livery. or should i just leave it as dont know this person. thanks.

Do you live with your parents?

I'd find out where they keep the horse at the moment, have a chat to them and find out why they are moving , what experience they have etc and see how you feel about them.

Is it diy they are looking for?

yes you would need livery insurance too
