Livery around Summertown, Oxford?

Just putting some feelers out really. Can anyone point me in the direction of any livery yards in that area?

DIY and POSSIBLY part livery.

Turnout is important, as are the friendliness of liveries. Open to ideas :)
 
You have to go outside city for livery really, but if you have a car I can recommend a few? Elsfield has a nice yard with outdoor arena, group turnout, grass livery etc called drift equestrian. Worton Park has indoor and outdoor, individual turnout, year round grass livery, hay and straw included in stable, and is generally very nice. Pm me if you find others to look at or have questions as I live near you and looked at a good few, both of these were very reasonably priced.

Thank you for the response. My OH has just moved there and there's a possibility I may do to.

Availability of suitable livery could possibly sway things, so thanks for the help :)
 
There's a lovely, cheap yard at Hampton Poyle with 24/7 turnout, big stables, rubber school and a few Xc jumps. Up the road is village farm in bletchingdon which is bigger and has an indoor too, still 24/7 turnout and reasonable prices too. These aren't far from you.

There are two yards within the ring road, one on Abingdon road and one in old marston next to the Victoria arms pub, but both have fewer facilities. Pm me if you want more details, having moved recently I have a pretty comprehensive list of facilities/prices of tonnes of yards within a twenty mile radius :-s!!!!!!
 
The main ones are: Hill Farm in Marston but this is just part/full livery (2 mins from summertown)
Worton Park near yarnton (i hope to move here in october - it's fab!) (8 mins)
Mill Stables in Bletchingdon (10 mins)
Drift Equestrian at Elsfield (8 mins)

There are a few more - pm me if you want more info as I live in summertown and happy to give you info and contact numbers. I have done a lot of searching around for yards here but haven't found a convenient/reasonable and flexible one but your situation is no doubt different to mine so you'll probably find it easier choosing one. Definitely wouldn't recommend where I am though - can't wait to move!
