Sorry I know there are millions of these posts! I don't know if anyone remembers my dilemma about whether to move yards to get better facilities and better value for money and risk losing my sharer? Well anyway I have decided to have a look at some yards but tbh the phone book and google arent proving too helpful!! I live in Woodley just outside Reading, and work in Stoke Poges, just outside slough so anywhere between those two eg windsor ascot bracknell binfield hurst etc but the nearer to home rather than work the better! I am looking for somewhere that does DIY/ assisted as i need turnout in the morning to be done for me. Good school pref one that hasnt frozen in this weather if that is at all poss!!! Other facilities like horsewalker would be a bonus, good turnout and decent hacking essential!! I dont want to spend too much at the moment i pay £150 pm plus an extra £2 a day for turnout so its quite expensive. I've searched the internet thoroughly so dont suppose anyone has any suggestions of yards who arent yet online??!!

Thanks all, sorry for the boring post!!

Have you looked in Eileen douglas and Millwheel tackshops? There are normally loads of adverts in there.

There is a yard in Binfield which isnt posh but has a school, walker and ok hacking its called WEST END STABLES WARFIELD.

I lived there a few years ago but found it on this site (some of which were a little out of date when I looked a month or so ago, but worth a go I guess)

web page

Not sure if that helps!!

Hi Suzie I am just across the big dogwalking park from you! I think there's a yard at or near Wargrave/Crazies Hill direction advertised or has recently been advertised at Countrywide and I heard someone say they'd heard from someone else it was quite nice there with a school or two and good hacking.

aaah thank you

Right we're back! The Wargrave yard isn't advertised there at the mo, but Keyersbridge
is hmmmm pricing wise sounds the same as you're paying! I also recall Bill Hill advertising in Hurst PO a while ago.
Our neighbours daughter keeps 2 at a yard near Millwheel, fairly sure she said she pays £360 a month DIY for the 2 not sure what that includes but it has a school.
