Livery - Cardiff Area

Hey,

After waiting 13 years i'm finally having a horse of my own on a 2 year long loan! However, i'm there's a possibility i'll have to move him to Cardiff with me in September if I get a decent job there. Does anyone know of any livery yards in or around the Cardiff area and their rates?

It would predominately be out in the field, only being stabled in severe weather conditions.

Anyone stabled around this area, any information greatly appreciated!

You can try stocklands, they charge £25 pw for stabling including hay/ haylage. I'm just outside Cardiff in Groesfaen, there is no space at the moment but they are building new stables. They charge £20 pw (no hay/haylage). There are a few other members on here that keep horses around the cardiff area, I could also get you the number for one in the Caerphilly area, possibly a few more if I ask around. I guess most of it would depend where in Cardiff you are planning to live as where I am or Stocklands is fine if say you were Northwest/ west cardiff, but Caerphilly/ Lisvane/ Rudry more useful if you're NE/North Cardiff. it also depends on what you want hacking wise. If you really want some good hacks then I'd recommend Caerphilly/ Taffs Well/ Tongwynlais/ Rudry so you get Caerphilly mountain, Taff trail and Tongwynlais forestry.
