Hi Essex people

Wondering if you could help please, I am looking to move my boy, full or part livery, preferably a 15 minute radius of Springfield.

Not needing an abundance of facilities, just need more turn out than currently getting, so ideally looking for somewhere with all year round grass turn out.

Good hacking and a floodlit menage are also a must.

If anyone can reccommend anywhere I would be most grateful.

I honestly couldn't recommend anywhere, no. Sorry, but there are just no decent yards round here

What she said ^ unfortunately we really lack anything decent round here, I have had to move to full livery to get what I want.

I can recommend Belsmard in Writtle or Elite Equestrian in Felsted (Yo is a member on here might be worth a PM? If you do a search it should come up)
Didn't realise you were looking for full livery sorry! Be prepared to spend upwards of £500 a month for these yards though.

Thanks, I called Elite Equestrian today, unfortunately would work out slightly more than I wanted to spend though as shavings bed not included... Looks a lovely yard though. Am spending upwards of £500 a month now, was hoping to cut it down a bit now as I don't particularly need great facilities any more, we're happy hackers now!! But not looking likely in this area! thanks for the suggestions anyway

I'd like facilities - well a surface anyway - but I can't run to 500 plus pcm for 3 of the little devils! Besides, I'm so antisocial, I hate people even more than I dislike mud. I really do hate people. I'm like the anthropomorphic embodiment of misanthropy I love being all by myself.

I think you will really struggle to find all year turnout around here after the year we have had. I don't think belsmard turnout in winter.
Pattens in West Hanningfield are £80 a week but again no winter turnout or floodlit school.

I run Elite Equestrian and we are under £500 per month. At the moment the horses are going out on grass turnout minimum of twice a week. Shavings aren't included but that is left up to the owners to decided depth of bed etc. we will only add what we are told to, minimising your costs. We also can order shavings in from our feed supplier so making it cheaper than you buying direct. I believe I spoke to you but if you want to discuss further or view please call back. Thanks

I know a fab yard near Halstead - it does have limited turnout in winter, but there is a trash paddock if needed and also has floodlit school and walker. PM me if you want any more details.

Park Farm in Galleywood is good - down Pond Lane. It's DIY but services are provided.

There is also a yard on the Broomfield Road behind the petrol station - might be DIY.

Then by the A12 Park & Ride is Westwoods.

Roxwell has a few lovely yards, Dukes, Lightfoots but massive waiting lists.

There is also a small private yard in Chelmer Village that had one stable but was full livery but cheap-ish.
