i think that's bloody great, i pay £28/week and get -

stable
24/7 turn out Spring/Summer
outdoor school, floodlit
tack shed with broken lock
own storage which is limited
great fields
fantasic hacking

Full livery - £90 per week per horse (I have 2).
Stable with rubber matting and shavings.
24/7 turnout - YO brings in and out.
Each of them groomed every day.
Washing off if dirty from field.
Each of them clipped once a month.
Rugs checked and changed if necessary.
Parking for trailer included.
Ad lib hay or haylage.
Feed twice a day (nuts) YO does this.
Secure tack room and space in feed room for supplements etc.
Use of 20 x 60 floodlit arena plus jumps.
24/7 access to our horses with no restrictions.
Located in Bristol.
Hacking is great with lots of quiet on road and plenty of off road if you know where to look.

Was on part livery at last yard - paid £95 per horse per week for a lot less than this. Moved yard 2 years ago and horses and I are much happier.

Ah, ok. Thought it was more my neck of the woods, so was going to try and suggest some alternatives with better hacking.

I think that the charge is very reasonable actually. However, I'd personally want better hacking options, from what you describe.

cobsrock - that sounds pretty good! Whereabouts in Bristol are you?

I pay £125/month DIY and get:

Stable
24/7 Turnout in the summer, at least 4 hours (but usually 7 or 8) out every day in the winter
As much hayledge as you want
Turnout and Bring In included weekdays
Secure tackroom with trunk under saddle rack
Own trunk and shelf in feedroom

Have to buy own feed and shavings, but that's not a problem!

On our yard you have just two choices, full of DIY

Outdoor wood chip floodlit school, small and poorly lit, never levelled but better than nothing.

No other facilities, no access to hot water, you cant ride in any of the fields neither and the fields do no get poo picked....YO's a farmer type dude and basically ist 'like it or leave it' but having said that its a nice relaxed yard and we all get on well and get stuck in and help each other out if needed, no rules etc, just common sense and courtesty.

£85.00 per month DIY which includes your stable, free straw and your horses grazing.
£260.00 per month Full Livery which includes above as well as hay (but they put the amount in) and your choice of feed, turnout, bringing in, rug change.

Hay is not always brilliant as the full liveries on on the big bales but I buy the small ones so I have a choice of the good or just average hay or if I want I can buy my own in!

oh and a guard dog...that once bit my vet
