Livery/DIY Yards Taunton/Norton Fitzwarren/Bishops Lydiard way

For various reasons, but mainly as I have a new job working at the Conquest Centre I'm looking to move my pony to this area. Don't really want to be more than about 5 -10 mins drive of the Conquest Centre as I will be commuting from Langport every day so don't want to add any more onto my journey

Anyone know any livery yards/small set ups around here?

DIY only. Other than that, I'm not fussy but ideally looking for somewhere with a sandschool. Pony will live in or out , mixed herd / seperate herd, whatever. He is very easy to keep!!!

There is one at Comeytrowe, which is probably about 10 minutes drive over Silk Mills.

So glad you've got a new job. You deserved better. And I did some volunteering at Conquest before the strangles hit - they are lovely.

If you drive past the Conquest centre towards Minehead, there is usually a crop of elephant grass on your left, not long ago there was a board up offering livery. I am trying to place exactly where it is, but I think its just past the roundabout to Tone Vale on the left.

Pound Farm in Bishops Lydeard do livery, not sure of the number, but google bed and breakfast - pound farm run a b&b as well as a livery yard. There's a sand school there too.

Big vote for pound farm from me too - I used to keep my pony there and the owners are lovely!

Can you not keep Merlin at Conquest? They've sometimes got spare stables? Just a thought...
