Hi, i was just wondering if anyone here knows of a place in Scotland that does livery for yearlings and two year old colts?
I have found a lovely place where i could have my yearling but he would have to be gelded, i am a bit usure what to do as he has true stallion potential.
He has two full brother that are licenesced in Germany and three state premium full sisters too. He is out of Sandro Hit x Donnerhall.
I have recently relocated to Rosyth and found something nearby but now i am contemplating to have him further away if it means i can leave him entire to try and licence him over here in the UK via the Hannoverian society.

The closest to Rosyth the better of course.

Any ideas?

Thanks

You could try this place; http://www.bouprie-farm-livery.co.uk/

There are two other livery yards between Rosyth and Aberdour, within a mile or so of each other, near the east end of the industrial estate at Donibristle. From Rosyth go east along Admiralty Rd, follow A921, bypass Hillend and stay on A921. About a mile after Hillend, one yard is left over the railway bridge, opposite the last entrance to the factories (Central Way), at the south entrance to Fordell estate, and the other is half mile after that, turn right onto Eastern Access Rd, first left and follow road round past little church and up the hill.

I don't know if any of them could or would accommodate you but it's a starting point.

Thank you, will have a look i was hoping to find a stud place that is used to look after colts and bring up stallions and maybe help with the whole preparation for the grading.

There's the yard in Culross (heading to Kincardine from Rosyth). I don't know yard name but Ashlea boarding kennels are at the same bit to google for directions. The owner breeds and produces young stock, very well known and her son jumps. As far as I know they don't do livery but they do have youngstock turned away so might either be able to help or point you in the right direction. Good luck
