Hi I will be working in Bristol living in Clifton for the next few months up to a year. I need to relocate my horses and would appreciate some advice from locals in the know.

I have two mares and a newfie type and a haflinger and a companion older loan gelding. At present I have them at home where they are a small herd out 24/7 on restricted grazing, I usually bring in for winter. I would prefer assisted DIY to do them myself at weekends but could do full.

Ideally I need a nice friendly yard with off road hacking , a school , nice company and potential to have help / lessons. I would prefer to be allowed to graze them together with reasonable turnout in winter.

Any suggestions very welcome.

How far are you wanting to go? I'm nearer to the Bath side of Bristol, but I know there are a few yards over the Suspension Bridge- Long Ashton/Failand (where Bushy vets are) etc- about 4/5 miles away :) I don't know any more than that, but I'm sure Google can help if want want something more specific :)
