Im at livery with both my horses, a dressage horse and a homebred youngster.
My problem is the youngster. He has been out with an array of older livery horses but is now out with a 15 mth colt. Mine is rising 3, and doesn't seem too impressed as the colt is now finding himself! I think he thinks mine is target practice to mount on, bite, pull rugs off etc. Mine has a major allergy to fly bites so I need him covered from nose to tail!
The latest problem is mine has kicked the owner of the colt in the field, I don't know why but can only presume he thought it was the colt?? He is wearing a fly bonnet so can't see behind him very well.
What would people do in this situation?
He had never lifted a foot before, its something he is doing to the colt all the time now to tell him to bugger off.
