Hello,
I am moving from Oakham to Repton for a new job in July/August and I am desperately looking for somewhere to keep my horses! I have a mare who is going to be put in foal this month and a competition horse gelding so I really need different things, and they don't necessarily have to live in the same place as I do also have an old companion that could keep the mare in foal company (although it would be easier if they lived at the same place!) So... in an ideal world, I'd find somewhere friendly and near to Repton that offers full time turnout with a shelter for the mare, but stabling and a good arena for the gelding... and not too pricey! I have my own yard in Oakham so I am already anxious about going back to DIY! If I could find a field to rent for the ones that need turning out that would also be fine, provided the price, location and security is right!
An alternative is that they all live with friends on a farm in Melbourne (which has been offered) but does anyone know of an arena that I could use/hire near there? I can't really keep the comp horse somewhere without a school...
