Looking to move northwards, in that area but what is there in relation to horses? shows/livery yards/hacking

If you can recommend a good livery with good facilities and hacking even better

We want to be commutable to Sheffield but not using the M1 so southwards/westwards so to speak

thanks in advance

Agree with above, very horsey areas, loads of liveries,a number of riding clubs who all run local shows,a couple of hunts.
We are located on the sheffield/Chesterfield border and rent our own little yard but if I wanted to return to a livery yard there is at least 5 yards within walking distance and many more within a 15 min drive.
If you want to PM a more specific area could get you a list.

Just to let u know we do Full Livery on the Bakewell side of Chesterfield.
Facilities include:

20 x 40 sand arena
30 x 60 sand rubber arena
Approx 7km of private hacking alongside good local routes, you can hack to Chatsworth Park from us.
My husband is a BE accredited course builder and is starting a xc course soon
We are looking at installing a gallop track and purchasing a full set of BSJA showjumps and JAS fences soon.
Wash box with hot & cold shower
32 acres - 16 stables (so no over grazing!)
16 stables - mostly 14 x 12
As much TO as you like!
Tea room
This is a brand new yard with owners living on site.
Onsite training available.
Outside instructors welcome (probably a small fee for use of the arena)

Hope we might be of interest to you, only a couple of stables free now. Just opened!

Can pm u more details if you would like. X

I'm stabled near Sheffield, about 30 minutes from Sheffield centre by bus (20 minutes by car) and don't have to use the M1 to get there, but it's near it so good for shows :)
has 2 outdoor schools and one indoor, really good grazing and good off road hacking but then loads more if you go on the roads/lanes for a bit
